Dr. Dinesh Kumar Chauhan is a global agribusiness and innovation leader with more than 25 years of experience spanning agriculture, food technology, entrepreneurship, business development, innovation ecosystems and international development.

His career has focused on one central challenge:

How can agricultural innovation become commercially viable, scalable and capable of creating meaningful impact?

Over the course of his career, he has worked across the private sector, development ecosystem, entrepreneurship and research environments, connecting technology and innovation with markets, enterprises and institutional partnerships.

He currently leads work in agribusiness innovation and nutrition at ICRISAT, with a focus on entrepreneurship, innovation partnerships, value addition, incubation, scale-up and strategic engagement.

His previous leadership experience includes roles with DeHaat, the Indian Society of Agribusiness Professionals, Indigram and international development programmes, among others.
