As CEO and Head of the Agribusiness Innovation Platform (AIP) at ICRISAT, I lead transformative initiatives in agri-entrepreneurship and innovation. With over 25 years of experience across academia, consulting, and private sector leadership roles, my technical background spans agriculture, food technology, and agribusiness management.
My career includes senior management positions at multinational and leading national companies, working extensively across India and Africa with cross-cultural teams from the US, Australia, Israel, Africa, China, Norway, the Middle East, and South Asia. I have been instrumental in developing international projects and bringing technical expertise to complex agribusiness challenges.
Previous roles include VP of New Initiatives at DeHaat, COO Indian Society of Agribusiness Professionals (ISAP), Director of Business Development at Indigram Group, and CEO of the International Agriculture Consulting Group (IACG).
Global Leadership
I serve as a World Economic Forum Expert Member for the AI Playbook for Agriculture under the AI for India 2030 initiative, and as a Member of the CII National AI Forum. I have spoken at prestigious global platforms including the World Agri-Tech Innovation Summit, COP 16 in Riyadh, and Gulf Food Green in Dubai.
Advisory Board Member at Africa Agribusiness Alliance, AgTech Insight California, Ghana India Trade Advisory Council, Global AgTech Council, and Lovely Professional University. Working group member of the National Committee of Agri StartUps.
